So heres a couple of pics and short writeup of my buddies 98 v-8 explorer. We narrowed a D44, has Reid racingcrossover steering knuckle, wagoneer front springs, springover rear with longer shackles, 5.13 gears, detroit lockers front and rear, transfer case swap to f150 for 2wd option. Holy crap definitly not a weekend project. Had to cut all thefront IFS junk out, custom build a front crossmember with spring mounts, toyota steering box, custom built steering shaft. Iknow its way off topic but this was one of the most indepth and kick *** swaps i think ive done, and i do lots ofcustom 4 links and air bag systems for my friends. So I had to show it off!!

NICE! I never see lifted exploders

 

Definitly a huge undertaking. Still not done, waiting on driveline for the front, thats why we were flexing it to measure. Hopefully gonna hit the trails with it in a week or two, followed by the trusty XJ.
