In addition to my 2001 XJ I have a 1997 Dodge Dakota with the 5.2 318...Great truck..

Fuel pump went out on it...Any reccomendations on a new fuel pump..I want one that will last at least as long as the original one did...So high quality and reliabale fuel pump advice is what I need...

The dakota is all stock..

Okay so I finally pulled the old fuel pump out of my Dakota..I was able to get 146k miles out of it...I still have the original fuel pump in my jeep still going at 184k..hmmm...I will most likely replace it next..

anyway, getting ready to purchase a fuel pump for my dakota..any suggestions on a good super reliable and quiet...price is no object on this one..I want this one to last. ...I did some research online so far Bosch is the front runner..

anyone have any suggestions

isn't bosch german? i figured they be best for VW's.

i'd just go to the dealer to see what they've got?

 

I went with Delphi ..their oem fuel pump.
