Really quick and simple question.
My friend and his step-dad replaced the driver-side front wheel hub/bearing of his '96 Ford Exploder. When they went to reassemble everything, my friend said that his step-dad did not torque ANYTHING down with a torque wrench.. he only used the impact wrench on the center axle nut and the bolts on the back of the knuckle. 2 days later, my friend says he has a like a squeeking coming from that wheel when he turns and when he hits a bump. Could the lack of torqueing cause this? I told him to go back and torque everything, but I wanted other opinions. Thanks everyone.
Also, it makes me glad when guys here in the forum help with my friend's Exploder... it gives me all the more reason to make him put a pair of CherokeeForum stickers on his Ford like I have on my XJ lol.
