i have a 66 ford f100 it has a 390 fe big block ford motor. has flat top trw pistons ported polished heads. edelbrok intake manifold holley carb. buit c6 tranny and a 9in with 4.11s and a posi! itnothing to crazy. just a lil cruzer! my question is im wanting to run a pin stripe to sereate the 2 colors and in not sure what color to make the pin stripe..... i dunno if i should do something radical like lime green.... or something a lil less drastic im not keeping it... im selling it but i just wanna fix it up a bit so maybe i can get a lil more cash outta it.... here r some pics.

the previous owner did the body and paint work and teh line where the colors meet isnt very strait... and i was thinking a pin strip would would fix it up.... and as u can see from the pics... i have 3 jeeps and a race truck to dump money in.... and i just got my ands on a mid 70s j-10 honcho! i dont need it and i never drive it it jsut sits.... i would rather some1 who would appriciate it and give it alot more attention than i have get their hands on it... its a super clean truck and i have done alot to it.... but it still needs alot.... i jsut have to many other projects.... i was gonna do the pinstrip clean it up. finsh up the interior a bit. it has no headliner or capret... jsut a few lil things like that.

Since the chrome is still very sharp maybe a metallic silver pinstripe.

Not sure if you did anything yet but first thing that came to my mind was silver.

Thanks guys and i think im gonna go with silver i went and bought some of the stick on pinstripping form oreilys in a couple diff colors and put them on and silver def look the best it complements the silver dash overlay. and the chrome well. and yes i have more money than i care to mention invested in taht cj-7 and i def rolled it... im tryin to figure out what im gonna do with it.... its has a 500hp sbc sm465 tranny d300 with 4:1 built axles with detroits 4.11s and chormoly axles i have completly restored it i bought the jeep in pieces and put the whole thing togather it took me about 3 yrs to complete. i drove it for 2 yrs and then rolled showin off... but it was a lesson learned... im just tryin to figure out what todo with it. jeep tubs are sooo expensive so i dunno if im gonna rebuild it or part it out.....

 

I would definitely go with a silver, gunmetal gray, or black. it will look very nice when its done just make sure its done right

 

yeah i have a guy who does custom pinstriping and im gonna get him todo it. he said for jsut a single strip all the way around wouldbe cheap like 120
