Hello everybody!

I would like to know your opinion

I consider myser a home mechanic/doityourselfer hehehe
My dad is always been into 4x4's.

Right now we are working on a 1987 waggy, that you can se my thread on the build.

But this is his other car that as soon as he finishes with the waggy, we might start with this other one.
Its a 1990 Isuzu Trooper, 2.6L EFI,5-spd, 4x4, diff I know are stock, but they are 4.55:1 (so they told me)

Its been at home for a few years now and I can tell you its a really strong engine to be a 4 banger and really reliable

What u suggest we do to it

Now, if we decide to go somehow radical, this is what I would like to put on it

i think that you should lift it a couple inches and put the biggest tires that will fit. Then go safari style with if. (roof rack snorkel offroad lights ect.)

That I think, its the japanese, or korean, (have no clue where from) diesel engine for the isuzu trooper. Its a 2.0L Turbo Diesel engine. No ECU required.

I know earlier versions, came with a 2.2L turbo diesel, but that one seens for a little later models

Its made out of thicker EMT tubing, and lots, lots off hand fitting, measuring and PATIENCE, someting my dad has, I don't.

Hopefully today I get to my neighbor to weld the spare mounting plate, and the hi- lift mounts.

We have a joke here at home, because of the roof rack.

My dad insist on putting the spare mount, with some sheet metal, and then mount it with bolts, in case he needs to take it out to carry anything big enough that might not fit inside. He also says that he wants to put some pieces of wood (2" x 1/2" ) to have a "floor" for the rack, and also to match with the waggy theme.

We here are saying that, that's in case my mom throws him out, he'll put an inflatable mattress and sleep there
