clean it up. i have to get the brakes working well, fix a coupler in the steering shaft and other small stuff. The girlfriend wants to pain it tongiht though, so that might be first on the list and its gonna be olive drab. gotta love it.

Yeah, Herc is good stuff. I'm keeping my carpet for now, but the day I get the Jeep too deep, the carpet's getting pulled and Herculiner's going down. I'm planning on Herculining the bottom part of my doors/panels in the near future.

that looks good. yeah I got my cherokee too deep a few times before i removed carpet. unfortunately when i removed the carpet i realized how bad the jeep was rotted. hence my frankenjeep now.

Like your CJ5. I had one in the late 80s it was an awful Yellow. Yours looks better now than mine did cleaned up. That 258 is a strong pulling motor. Alway thought it had plenty of torque for a Jeep. Mine had Jackman wagon wheels and a bikini top. Never put it on but it also had a hard top.

here are a couple new pics from last night. Got excited and went for the O.D. look. gonna do the redo the black parts on it tonight then get the stainless back on it.
