kinda. except UAZ is a 4 cyl. that has been geared down so much, that only competes with a turtle. i have driven a whole bunch of'em and never been able to get one stuck. excellent drivetrain. only weighs a few hundred pounds more than XJ.

If I can solve my first gear traction issues the car will be in the 11.60s and hopefully holder of the fastest pass for a stock turbo STi.

Pretty cool RIG shot.

Holy **** thats fast. Looks sweet man! How did you get a stock turbo STI to put down those times?

Thanks man, it has taken alot of time! The parts list isn't very extensive about $2000 in aftermarket parts but the time spent tuning the car is what makes it different from the other cars. Currently tuned on E85 (109 octane roughly) alot of timing, around 28 degrees of advance and 24-25psi of boost.

28 degress of advance? Holy poop! How are you pushing 24/25 psi through the block with stock internals? Or do you have forged?

It is still the stock shortblock, factory forged crank and rods but cast pistons so we have to be careful. I have seen quite a few cars make well over 500whp on the stock shortblock, it really all just comes down to the tuning the car has.
