I got rid of my YJ also. The ride off road was horrible, no matter how many improvements were made. If you get a chance, test drive the CJ on some really rough terrain.

If your set on getting a wrangler at-least get a TJ. Coils all around. Its a huge improvement over the leafs.

After seeing how poorly some of the newer wranglers performed compared to a XJ I think I will stay with the XJ.

That CJ sounds pretty bad. Sounds like it might be worth a little more than your XJ no offese so in that since sounds like a good deal to me. Makes me almost wonder why the guy is getting rid of it. Has the CJ been streched any or does it still have the stock wheel base? How good is the quality of the guys work. What's the stats on your rig for comparison? Also just note that that is alot of modifications done on that CJ which sounds great but you don't want to be trading your XJ for somthing that sounds like a great ride but is no better than a 2 dollar *****...

well i know the guy...he had it built at high country 4x4 in boone nc they do good work the wheel base is stretched good bit not sure how much but the front wheels are close to center on grill. i rode in it its deffinately a nice rig. he wants a dd/trail rig, this one is full width dana 60s and locked front and rear kinda hard to drive on road and mine is still driveable on road. mines lifted, has skids, tsl superswampers, winch and rack few other things too but trust me i know what im gettin. ill post pics when it gets to my driveway

As long as its a Jeep its all good, but you just can't beat a XJ all tricked out and set up with extreme gear.. Its just a Jeep thing thats all.

We would probably have let you hang out with us, even if you traded. The wranglerforum, our sister site has some great people as well.

Guess the other guy isn't as interested in the trade since you rolled it......
