Default Lifting a ford

We are going to be lifting my buddies 96 f150. I'm just wondering if I'm going to run into any of the problems like with the jeep. He is going with a 6" suspension. I talked him out of 3" susp and 3"body. He is just going to use it for a dd and hunting rig. I guess my big questions are will it need sye, different drive shafts or can you adjust the axle angle. I'm sure new brake lines are in order. Sorry if I asked some obvious questions but he won't be in till next week and I haven't got to crawl under it yet. Appreciate any help.

Drivelines will be fine. Are you doing the extended radius arm kit or just drop brackets? Brake lines will barely work but u can instal the line mount relocation brackets and be ok. If you've never done a TTB lift kit you are definitely in for some fun. I've done probly 100ish of them and still don't much care for em. I have them down to a bout 3-4 hours by myself with all the right tools and a 2 post hoist. If you need pointers pm me.

I appreciate it. No I haven't done the ttb yet. I've heard they are fun. I've got plenty of tools for the job, unfortunately don't have a lift. You will probably be getting some pm's from me when we start. Thanks again.

Do you think the drop brackets will be good for minimal wheeling?

Yeah the brackets ate ok. After I get everything installed I usually go back through and put a few decent welds on the brackets to frame. The bolts just never stay tight and I like the added security of welds. While you are the you should replace the center pivot bushings with a poly set.
