If you want a copy of "Lower Forty", give Burnsville Off Road a call, they did a lot of the work on it.

The lower fourty is bad*** I would love to have one. I wish Jeep would produce a wider selection of more capable vehicles like they use to...now all they have for the most part is the Wrangler. Also, not trying to hijack, but what ever happened to this idea?

They changed it to this if I'm not mistaken. I read about it in "JP Magazine".

New Military-Grade Jeep Dana 60 and Dana 44 Axle Assemblies

Available exclusively from Mopar Performance - Jeep Wrangler military-grade front and rear axle assemblies for Jeep Wranglers. These tough, genuine Jeep assemblies are designed for the military Wrangler (J8) and provide the next level of off-road performance for Wranglers. They come fully assembled and well equipped with 4.10 gears, JK wheel speed sensors, and massive, heavy-duty disc brake calipers and rotors. The high-pinion Dana 44 front axle is ready for bolt-in on all 2007 & newer Wrangler’s. The Dana 60 rear axle is configured for leaf spring mounts*.
Specifications:
Axle Ratio: 4.10
Wheel Mounting Surface Width: 65.4inch
Wheel Bolt Pattern**: 5 on 5.5inch
Rear Axle Tube Diameter/Thickness: 3.5inch / 0.35inch
Front Tube Axle Tube Diameter/Thickness: 2.5inch / 0.31“(25% thicker than JK Dana 44)
Rear Brake Rotor: 13.8inch Diameter x 0.87inch Thick, Vented
Front Brake Rotor: 13.25inch Diameter x 1.1inch Thick, Vented
These axles are an outstanding upgrade for off-road use and those planning to run larger tires.
* Adaptation of the rear axle to fit the suspension of any Jeep vehicle is the responsibility of the purchaser.
**5 on 5.0inch Wrangler wheels will not fit these axles. Commonly available 5 on 5.5inch x 16inch or 17inch diameter wheels are required to clear the large brakes.
