Default Jeep Liberty CRD

How are these engines? Are they diesel reliable?

Heavily considering getting a new vehicle and I spotted a CRD Liberty with Selec-Trac 4WD.

How does QuadraDrive-II compare to Selec-Trac?

I am also eyeballing Jeep Cherokee's which are slightly more.

Got an '06 with almost 100k on it. Yet to make a repair to it. Had a recall on something but that's it.

DO IT! Can't tell you much about the 4x4 system but they get excellent mileage for a four wheel drive! A previous neighbor had one and he put a tuner on it (the company specializes in tractor tuners) and he could prove close to 40 mpg!
