easy way to tell, does it have a brow above the winshield like the one below or not, if it does its an 80 or older, if the roof above the windshield doesnt and looks like the 2nd one then its an 81 or newer

The owner is a truck driver like I said before, his wife wants him to sell it. He hasn't priced it yet. Oh, and the last pics I posted are ones I took yesterday of the Honcho in question.

HOLY "insert word"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! take that thing, if not let me know where i can find it, that thing is awesome, a diamond in the rough, if you decide not to buy it, i can post on the fsj forum, im sure for a fact it would sell, unless your neighbor is asking something ridiculous for it, but Honcho stepsides were kinda rare, that thing would be sick

Default J10 HONCHO Sportside

I PM'd you yesterday.
I have two stock Sportsides, '82 and '83, in my collection.
I'm looking for contact info and price please.
I may like to add this '81 if reasonable, it looks like a lot
of work having set that long and the roof issue.
Did you say auto or manual tranny?

Thanks

I'll get the VIN some time this week. Does anyone know where I can get a build sheet for an '81?

That would be a nice one to get, but would need a lot of work to get it going down the road. All the rubber is most likely dried up, things may be frozen solid and such. The stepsides are pretty much the rarest ones so if its something you want and are up for the project, id say to go for it. It would be worth it in the end....

NOT a good canditate for a trail rig. They make excellent off-roaders, but too many guys ruin these fsj's and like said above, they are getting hard to find.

Default Jeep J10

Steven,
OK, I have a few J10's and a couple of Cherokee's All are AMC products and are know as FSJ or Full Size Jeeps. Your J10 is also. If you are looking for parts of any kind, please try the organization website that I belong to. It is strickly for FSJ people. They have a General Discussion area and a Parts for Sale section by members.
Go to the International Full Size Jeep Association website, at
www.IFSJA.org and join up. Everyone is great.
Hope this helps.
