Jeep commander
My wife seems really infatuated with the Jeep Commander. We may be going to look at some tomorrow and I was wondering if there were any issues that you guys have had experierences with. Or are there any engine combinations to stay away from. Thanks!

Yep, the thread is a year old but Ill answer anyway!
2006 models tend to leak if you have a moon roof. 3.7's get good gas mileage but lack power and not as good of a 4wd system.
4.7's are solid
Get a HEMI and fall in love, it has the best of the three 4wd systems and it will get the same gas mileage as the 4.7 if you drive it sensibly. I average 13 city/19 highway. You also get a 7200lb towing cap with the HEMI(that will tow most XJ's easily)
I would say about any af them after the 2007 YM will be good as long as they are cared for.
