Default Help: 2001 pt cruiser, overheating issue

I'm currently attempting to fix my sisters 2001 2.4L pt cruiser, the vehicle was over heating and come to find out the cooling fan quit working, which cracked the radiator.

I've replaced the thermostat, radiator, and cooling fan this brings me to where I'm at.

The vehicles temp gauge is reading normal temp range but the vehicle is still steaming and obviously overheating and the cooling fan appears to not be shutting off just constantly runs.

I think it may possibly be the cooling fan temp switch/sensor but I'm not entirely for sure any advice/suggestions would be great.

Patience grasshoppa.

A friend had a similar issue with a 4 banger PT. Turned out to be a cracked head. Finally replaced it and it's running fine.

ye man i have a srt4 with same exact 2.4 motor jus turboed and built tiny more from factory ur best bet is to buy a compression guage and take readings on all cylinder they shouldn be lower than 120 if they r u more than likely have cracked the head. these motors are notorius for overheating one time and cracking the head or at least bursting the head gasket
