hi i was was wondering if anyone here has or had a s10 with the 2.5 motor how did it drive on the highway and what kind of mpg did u get with it

i have a friend that does a lot with s 10's(they currently own 8) but i think all of thers have the 2.2 and the 4.3 but i will ask him

my friend had a 00 sonoma with the 4.3 and i think it was one of the best trucks it got like 20mph and drove awesome everywhere.

with a 5 speed and i know 93 and older come with the 2.5 and 94 and newer come with the 2.2 and i am looking to get one for my dd so i can save on gas and can go wheeling more with the jeep

yea i love the 4.3 my brother had one his is a 93 and lower its a fun truck

yeah i wish i would of bought it from him, he put iroc camaro rims on it in the summer time it had better handling then a car does it was awesome

yea my brother has iroc camaro rims on his and his is a 5 speed too

Yeah that was the only downfall he had on his with the auto but he still drove it like one tho. it was a good little truck tho pretty quick good mpg and he cut the muffler off and it sounded nasty lol

He deff did do a good job making it look nice. and yeah the 4.3 are a good little running engine my friend sold his with 215,xxx on it and its still running to this day
