I just rebuilt the trans in my 1993 Chevy k1500 with a master rebuild kit ( All new steels and clutches) with an hd sun cage hd sprags upgraded 13 vein pump a correction kit and 2 new shift solenoids.( All purchased from a local trans shop) Trans was assemble to manufactures spec all tolerances were double checked as well as all the torque specs on every bolt. When I engage the truck in reverse it hesitates when I hit the gas. If I hit the gas quickly the truck revs and goes no where. But if I am easy on the gas the truck will slowly start to move but it feels like the new torque converter is slipping. This truck is driving me up the wall
. This is the first trans I have done. I had the help and guidance of a friend of mine who rebuilds these on a daily basis and even he is stumped. What am I missing? Any advice would be great.

sun gear on these blow up all the time taking out a few things with it. happened to me. either rebuild it or new tranny time. only fix. if you change just the sun gear youll have other problems in the future.
