A cousin I wheel with drives a toyota and has been trying to figure out an 'easy' way to put fuel injection in his pickup, mostly to get away from the carburetor cut out/flood out on steep hill climbs. (there are other reasons and circumstances why he doesn't want to run 22RE)
He's been impressed with my I6/AW4 combo, and was considering dropping this in to his truck, and had a few questions that I didn't seem to be able to answer well enough.
1) What transfer case options does he have (passenger side drop)?
2) How much longer is the AW4 transmission than a stock Toyota manual trans?
He currently runs two transfer cases, so if there is an option for adapting Toyota transfer cases to an AW4, it would be useful information as well.
