I recently bought a 1992 classic Mini a months ago when I got stationed here in England. I knew I wanted to bring a classic british car home to the states, and this Classis BMC Mini was the perfect fit. I am in the middle of a slight restoration though Its not in too bad of shape, just needs a few things. It has slight rust in the floor pans and rear wheel wells, but these cars are notorious for being rust buckets because of their design overall. Mine has the 1275cc, 1.3L engine with a simple stage one performance kit added, which takes the overall power to about 62HP!!!! haha
Anyways, do we have any other Mini owners?
Oh and here she is...

and heres a little comparison shot. Mind you my Jeep isn't very big, just 4'' and 33s, but this car is pretty small lol

Don't see that many classic minis here in the US. But I always had a soft spot for a classic mini because of the ORIGINAL Italian Job.

I had one.
72 rhd with a turbo 1275. It ripped for only having 96hp lol
I wish my comp didn't loose all my old pics. But o well. I used to drive thru jack in the box and taco bell backwards to get my food. That was fun till they got used to it

I haven't brought it back yet, but I will be in a few years when I return to a stateside base. My plans are to just make it look good, and build it up like a typical british person would do with it. Wider arches(flares), 13x7 wheels(stock is 12x4), lower it about 2'', CAI, rebuild/rejet the carb, 2'' exhaust(stock is 1-1/4''), and replace the seats with some decent leather buckets, and put in a dash that has real gauges, a stereo, and a glovebox(which it didn't come with lol)

My younger brother had a 75 Mini 998cc till he did an engine swop with a 1300 cc turbo engine out of the MG Metro it went like stink
It would spin the wheels in 1st,2nd 3rd and a bit into 4th if you gave it plenty of gas
