Anyone have any classic 60 Mustangs.
Hey.
I've been really wanting to buy my dads bosses 68 Mustang Coupe.
He wants 2500 For it and it needs some work. Which im fine with.
Do any of you all have any late 60's Stangs? If so pics? Stats?
If i buy id like certain things done like this bumper and grille,
Or a cowl induction hood.
And like this but with tinted windows, and maybe a litte higer. Maybe a stripe.

68' was the first year for the 302.
The early heads flow better than the the smoggers.
If you go with a 5.0 roller engine you will need GT40 heads to be comparable to the
original 302.
But the 87-90 5.0HO is a great engine, forged pistons, forged crank.
A stock short block and cam in 87-90 can produce 400+ HP with the right aluminum
heads and intake.

The 289was one of fords best motors and you can make them come to life with a little.work. There are a ton of after market stuff for the stangs just like the jeeps.68was a.good year for a daily driver as it had alot more modern features but still fill old at the same time.

Had a '66 but I had the 200 Inline-6 in it. Lot's of torque and a cool car, but it was just not very comfortable for much more than a drive around town.
