my motor is clunking, knocking, and ticking. there is lots of power, good oil pressure. most of the sounds seem to come from the pasenger side of head.

i think i need another motor but does anyone have anything to say about these motors good or bad?

 

i had the 4.7 ho in my jeep rolled 100k and it took a chrysler sebring straight to the front to take the motor out i blew both head gaskets right before 100k but after that it ran great till the accident and was a power house, my buddy that drives a z28 camaro said it was just like driving his camaro. I haven't heard any bad things about the 4.7 litre and never had any issues..even when my head gaskets blew i never over heated and jeep still had tons of power..i figured it out on a fluke.
