Default 2004 Jeep wrangler, Brake trouble! Help!!!

My front passenger side brake keeps locking up! Ive replaced the hub, brake caliper, brake line, brake pads, and the paportion valve. nothing has worked! Took it in to a certified mechanic and he had it for two weeks and he cant find any reason why it would do that. Any suggestion???

where'd you get the caliper from? My guess is that its probably one the reman'd POS's from Advanced or Autozone. They are notorious for not working properly. Napa or the dealer is the only place I'd trust for a brake caliper, and even then I'd get a new one.

If you still have the old one, I bet you that there was some surface rust on the piston keeping it from returning properly. Happened to me, only took 2 hours from start to finish to remove, teardown and rebuild the caliper. its been working perfectly ever since.

sounds like the mechanic you took it too isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer.
