Default 1999 Ford Taurus Stalling

A co-workers 1999 Ford Taurus sometimes stalls at red lights. Any suggestions on what it could be?

vacuum leak? bad idle air control valve? sticking/dirty throttle body? fuel pump on borrowed time? fuel filter clogged?

will need to know more symptoms to really pin it down.

Talked to her again today, it also stalls while driving, not just at stops. It starts back up without much of a problem. It'll just stall, even while moving.

does it stall to a quick dead stop (like stalling a manual) or does it just die out quietly?

My experience with them in the shop, 50 percent of the time leads to the ignition coil heating up and shutting down. Restarting after it cools slightly. Just my .02

my experience in the shop would lead to the iac, i change at least 2-3 a week. if you know someone with a good diagnostic scanner you can run a test on the iac .

i might be wrong here, but it was stated that he car will stall while moving as well (eg. not idling). so wouldnt the IAC have little to do with it cutting out while moving?

the coil overheating might be a good answer though.
