Girlfriend was driving her Taurus to school today and as she was getting on the entrance ramp to I-75. Then her gas pedal Stuck, there was nothing under the pedal, the car was still running, but it just was't accelerating, Any ideas? After about 5 seconds of switching between the brake and the gas it finally accelerated and the gas pedal pushed down.

 

Cable pinched?

 

don't know how that could happen, then again i wouldn't be able to check, living 7 hours away from her and currently trouble shooting the jeep :P I'll ask her to look under the hood to see. Any idea how that could have happened?
