'11 Grand or '11 Explorer
I'm a little torn. The GC is about $2k more than the Explorer but that $2k gets you some really nice options including a 3rd row. Something that's nice on long trips with the wife, kid and 2 dogs. I'm only looking at the v6 in the GC as the Hemi is another 4k in the same package. BTW have you saw the new Explorers? Freaking awesome! I'm really torn, any thoughts?

i tow my jeep on a 2k lbs trailer with a 97 mountaineer/Explorer lol
It has the 5.0L, it dose surprisingly well
The new explorers are like crossovers now.
But they do look awesome!!
ide go with the jeep.... just because its a jeep.
And because i think the interiors are nicer.
BUT its your money. not mine lol.

Guess what I got? Yep. It definitely isn't a Jeep in the true sense of the word, but dam it's bad *** and in Michigan it'll be fun in the snow.

Ended up with the hemi over the v6 huh? They are nice looking suvs man. Not something I'd want to take off road but something of love for the Mrs to have! Congrats on the purchase!

The Grands are nice looking. I know them and the Durangos are the same, but the Durangos styling is sexy! But the Grands have some prety cool features the D's dont have. Nice ride BTW!!!

You bought the one I was going to say between the two. At work I have worked with both of them. I hate a bunch of stuff about the two of them. But I would def. choose that GC over the explorer.

Good Choice IMO, not only because its a jeep but because I believe the build quality is better, The New Explorer's are just AWD minivans. I bet that Hemi gets it where it needs to go fast lol I don't know if I'd be able to keep my foot off the go pedal haha
