My mom's van is not blowing hot air at the moment. The temp gauge reads normal so the thermostat's out. When the blower is set on a lower setting you can feel heat coming out out of the dash vents. So do I just need to put a piece of cardboard on the grill or could it be something else? TIA

Tires Plus says it's the radiator. It isn't overheating or hissing or even leaking.

Sounds like either a clogged heater core or a stuck open thermostat a radiator has nothing to do with it

I called the guy who is looking at it and he said the radiator was bone dry and there were signs from a leak on the bottom. He couldn't tell me why it wasn't overheating though which is what really throws me off. It's been running at normal temperatures!!!
