Default 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.2 ZJ Transmission Identification

I recently pulled a shot transmission out of a 95 jeep grand cherokee v8 5.2L and was going to swap it with another tranny I got but I don't know what kind of transmission it is. I'm pretty sure the old transmission is a 46RH. I have all the identification numbers off of the transmissions and the measurements. The transmissions measure the same but the transfer case on the old transmission is 5 inches longer. Is it possible to mount the old transfer case onto the new transmission?

Old transmission I.D. number: PK52119171
New transmission I.D. number: PK52119522AC

Old transmission I.D. number: PK 52119171 ==> 46RH which is hydraulically controlled
New transmission I.D. number: PK 52119522AC ==> 44RE which is electronically controlled.

So they are not directly interchangeable. It's possible, but you're looking at a major headache to try to make that swap.

The AW4 used in the XJ needs Dex-III. The ZJ is a Chrysler trans and uses ATF+4 (except the early 93 ZJ which used the same AW4 as the XJ)
