Can I use 4.5 spring from an xj on the front of a zj ?

Yes, but you'll get about an inch more in height.

I think that's right... i have ZJ 5" front coils, winch/bumper and sit ~6"

Engine: 4.0

A 4.5 front XJ spring will get you 3.5 or so on the front of a ZJ. And will get you about 7 inches on the back.... I think.
