Default ZJ F>R with a twist

I'm sure some of you are familiar with the front to rear coil swap on the ZJ's netting a 3" lift, then matched with 3" lift coils in front to level it out.

So, if a F>R nets 3".. and a ZJ V8 coil adds another inch would that equate to 4" total on a 6 cyl ZJ? Or am i missing something. Then theres the V8 coil with Upcountry.. would that take me to 5?

I'm looking for a cheap and easy rear setup to get me around 5-5.5" to clear some 33x10's on factory Canyon wheels. I could add some spacer to level it off.

Anyone familiar with this? How's a V8 coil ride in a rear swap? I will have some weight in the rig.

It should, maybe 5 1/2" or 6" depending on condition of springs.

Answers in bold type above.
I think you'll have clearance problems on the rear unless you go to a long-arm set-up. IMO. My Up-Country w/245x70x16s (same as 29x9.50) only have about 2" of clearance in the front of the rear tire. If you check out my album pics it sits up good too. So as you go higher, the LCAs will pull the rear tire forward. Hence my suggestion for the long arms. JMO

I bought the rough country budget lift, it's a front to rear kit. I specified a V-8, I have the 4.0L. I'm running 31x10.50's on stock wheels with plenty of room to spare. it will flex till I have a wheel off the ground with out rubbing at all. if I had 32 or larger tires it would rub when flexed out.

That's good to know. Thanks.
