zj driveshaft?
i have a 95 zj with a CV joint in place of one of the ujoints on my front driveshaft. i was wondering if there is a way to make an xj front driveshaft with 3 ujoints fit on place of my current driveshaft that has 2 ujoints and a CV joint?

On my '97 ZJ I had my CV type front drive shaft replaced with one that has regular u-joints and a grease-able slip-yoke collar.

The '95 and later ZJ came with 3 different types of front shafts, and only 1 had the CV joint. The other 2 had regular u-joints and slip yokes. One had a dust boot the other a grease-able dust collar.

You can use an XJ DS,just measure to make sure they're the same length and get the yoke as well. You cannot "convert" your existing shaft to cardan style. You can also find a ZJ one but measure it as well don't just assume it will fit.

Also, you could contact carolina driveshaft or tom woods,i believe they carry CV to U joint adapter flanges which might be easier than swapping yokes because you will have to set pinion bearing preload and re-do the crush sleeve.
