ZJ AX15 conversion. Dies when coming to stop
Converted 97 zj 4.0 to ax 15 manual with 231.
Bypassed NSS. Running stock ecu. Runs great except for the fact when you are slowing up to a stop the jeep with shut off. It idles etc perfect. Any ideas? Do i need a 5speed ecu ?

I would think you need the correct PCM. Will it stay running if you keep your foot on the gas?

Start with the basics. Verify your battery is in good shape and that your alternator is charging your system. I had the same problem and it was a weak battery. Also, check your grounds as well as your connections to the TPS, CPS, etc.
