Im planning on doing a home brew based on this
http://www.rocklizardfabrications.co...dget_boost.htm
Iv seen all over on using "V8 ZJ" springs. Do they actually have to come form a V8 because if I look up the coil for a ZJ on quadratec, morris 4x4, or autozone it only lists one part. Which would seem to conclude that the V6s and V8s had the same springs in them.
I know a guy parting out a V6 ZJ who will give e me the springs cheap.
Advice, comments?
PS. If you are going to say they are different please provide some proof so i can be sure.

I am sure some other people will chime in, but The v8 springs are heavier weight springs, everything dimension wise is the same, just stiffer so u don't sag as much. If I look it up on napa prolink at work, or the dealer, they do have diffrent part number for v8 n inline 6

If you want new V8 ZJ springs they have to be Mopar. No aftermarket company makes them. The ones made by Crown and Omix are "Heavy Duty" ones which are somewhere in between the I6 and V8.
yes it does work alothough i found it was pretty easy to make pukes i used 6in dia steel pipe 1/8 wall did 3in in rear and 2 1/2 in front to lev it out and resused my same springs will have to extend the center stop with 1 1/2 inch dia pipe the prob is when u use the v8 springs the lift u becuse its stiffer the weight of the body dosent sag down so much but also translates nto a rougher ride
