hi all, my wife's 08 WK went into limp mode the other day, nothing above 25mph or 2000 rpm. after a few times on getting by shutting it off and back on the check engine light came on, she had it scanned was told transmission speed sensor. so I've ordered the part $197 ouch but im not having luck finding any info on how to change it or where it is located on the tranny. any help would be great thanks

 

You have a vehicle speed sensor and a transmission output speed sensor. The attached pics might help you with the transmission speed sensor.

 

Thank you, that's exactly what i was looking for i came across those images but wasn't able to confirm if it was for mine. hopefully i get the part soon cand belive something like that is a $200 part thanks again

 

Well i got home tonight and rolled under the jeep and to my dismay i still can't find the sensor.... i checked my Haynes manual its saying i have 2 both on the side of the linkage so i checked there and still i see now wires no sensors.... I'm assuming I'm blind as a bat and looking in the wrong spot and im still having a very hard time finding a diagram of the '08 tranny Edit:...
