Default WJ Drive shaft question

Hello to everybody from Southern Maryland. Newbie here with a front driveshaft question. Napa and Rockauto have a driveshaft rebuild kit and I was wondering if anyone has rebuilt their front driveshaft and if so, how long did it take and what was the level of difficulty. Here's a pic of the driveshaft, thanks in advance.

replace it with a double cardan, itll save you the time, effort and cost of fixing it again eventually

I plan on replacing, but for the moment I need to rebuild it. The GC failed it's state safety inspection because of the driveshaft.

Why not use a Junkyard replacement until you get another shaft?
