Question Windscreen Washer Issue

My washers have slowly just got worse, with the left one hitting about one third way up the windscreen and the right one just about making it to the windscreen.

How do you get access to them under the hood and what can I do to make them better?

Thanks

Pull the cowl panel off and you will see the black hoses that feed the nozzles, check for split hoses and leaks at the connection points. You may also need a new pump or have a clogged screen inside the washer fluid bottle. You'll have to remove the wiper arms in order to get the cowl panel off.

Also check the flow coming out of the end of the hose that connects to the windhshield washer nozzel. The nozzel (squirters) may also be clogged. If they are the dealer should be able to get them for you.

A thin gage wire could be used to clear out any clogs in the squirters.

to get the wiper arm off lift the arm half way then slide the locking lever towards the end of the wiper (slides about a half inch) then you will beable to pull the arm off the axle.
