i have a 99 grand cherokee v6 4wd with 104,000 miles. there is a whining noise in the front drivers side when driving. when taking off if it is slower and isnt a full whin if that makes since. when cruising aroung it is really annoying. anyone have any ideas

 

i had a bad whine coming from the dront right. I replacedboth cv axle shafts and the hub and bearing assemblies. It went away. Not a hard job. Search on here for info on doing this repair. Good luck
