swap out the orange turn signal lenses for white, my buddy did that on his 89camaro and it made all the difference. u can pick up some cheap foglights from walmart 2. personally i think the chrome grille is very tasteful and i was sad to see the 97ish and later jeeps lose the chrome instead for the body color grille. rain guards are a nice touch aswell

discountcarlights.com or autopartsharehouse.com somewhere like that. im not sayin they have it, but thats the kinda place i would look. my buddy did it it his camaro and it looked sweet, ive heard of ppl doin it for thier jeeps, but i havent inquired into where they got the parts.
personally i wouldnt mess withthe grille or trim, but thats just my thoughts

don't waste your money on clear turn signals or blacked out tail lights. unless that's your thing. but i'd spend my money on practical mods, like put your front coils in the back and grab some 4.5 inch coils for the front. you might have to add a set of coil spacers in the rear to level it out, but it's a cheap lift and you can run 31s fine or 33s with some trimming.
grab a trailer hitch from the wreckers so you have a rear recovery point.
you can make something up for the front, just remove the front bumper cladding and cut out the frame holes and fit some 1/4 inch 2x4 steel in there and weld a piece across between them and you have a front recovery point too. it can be hidden if you reinstall the bumper.
then make or buy some front swaybar disconnects and your ready to wheel.
but yeah, paint that chrome grill black, it looks way better.

Like maple syrup, Canada's evil oozes over the United States.
i think he was lookin for cheap easy stuff to do, not that findin some bigger coils out the junk yard isnt cheap and welding stuff to the front isnt great, dont get me wrong. but its alot of work for the average guy, doin all that. id just save up for alift n tires, not as cool in the short run, but worth it longterm, thats what im doin anyway. practical things are good to add though, hard points in the front and back are amazing things to have when your in a bind.

I second that... A 17 year old newbie with low budget doesn't need to prioritize some of those stuff... Investing on some pretty cheap but dependable tires and lifts would be the best way to start with and the rest will follow...

well when i was 17 back in the day (a few months ago)
i spray painted the front grill- $2 for paint
put on a 2in bb- $60 for pucks
got cheapo fogs for $20 + extra wiring from lowes $3
truck bed linered sides ~ $60 (but i had gotten gouged by an accord)
craigslist speakers
remember that you can find good deals on stuff on craigslist. speakers, cb, wheels, tires, etc etc. if you can find a good junk yard then you may also have good luck there finding stuff, good luck

well a rough country 3" or 4.5" n 31 or 33 mudterrains are always nice, big enough to take care of anything you might come across thats not riducluous, but not crazy expensive...well not too too expensive haha, lifts n tires are not cheap to begin with
i think this guy had the rite idea for that kinda bodystyle haha....little bit of halo anyone. just thought id throw something out there for you to think about in the long run haha

if ya got a buddy with a welder, front stabilizer bar disco's are a good idea. Ive seen them made under $25. Also maybe take out that rear bar, unless you plan on towing.
More flex. Its a beautiful thing.
