What is this piece?
I bought a 2001 Grand Cherokee Laredo and this piece has been missing. I have no idea what it is and I've searched the internet up and down. Anybody?

Thank you so much! That makes sense. Unluckily that still doesn't help with my search for the part without a title. I appreciate the help though. It gives me some more keywords to add to my list.

The location of pad is called 'knee bolster panel'. I removed mine to get a part number off the back but it seems to be useless, 5GLO1TRMAA.
