What is this part? Emissions? 2004 jeep Cherokee
Doing some body work and found this broken behind the passenger side headlamp. I'm guessing an expansion box for emissions, but I'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated!

I'm going to guess it's the vacuum cannister.. not really emissions related. It's a reserve vacuum supply for accessories like heater controls etc. I would repair/replace it.
