I'm lifting my 97 grand cherokee in a few weeks but can not figure out how big a lift I want to go with and where to get it from. I want to fit 33's and not have to cut fenders. Plus any extra things I might need. Any ideas I'd appreciate the help

Spend a few hours and search this forum. There have been SO many posts and information about lifts here, you should be able to find the info you want.

I don't mean to dump on a newbie, but we've answered TOO many questions on this topic before. And welcome to CF.

Check out the first "sticky" post. It might give you ideas.

Once you are familiarized with options, the tech guys from the suppliers are great to talk to.
I suggest calling IronRockOffroad. they are great to buy from and ask questions.

Check your front axle yoke. If you have a cv you'll need to swap it out to a u-joint style and get a matching drive shaft for anything over 2". Also if you have an AWD t-case you can't do a t-case drop without having bad vibs so a SYE is in order for over 3-4" of lift. To fit 33s without cutting plan on around 5" of lift. I'd suggest long arms as well so start saving your pennies cause it won't be cheap.
