Im building a zj and will be needing to do something with my fuel system. Probably putting in a fuel cell. I did that on my last jeep and it worked out well (tbi setup). I didnt know what fuel pump to run or if anyone had a tank/pump combo that had worked for them. My grand is a 97 with 5.2 v8. I plan on streching the rear out to at least to the center of rear window and thats reason for pulling the stock tank. Im NOT a fan of putting the stock tank in the cargo area. Hahaha

 

Ttt. Just want to make sure I have correct fuel pressure. Anyone know a frame mount pump to use? That was my setup on my last jeep

My brother used an inline pump from Summit racing for his Chevelle race car. He had carbueraters so I don't know about pressure settings available. He had an aircraft fuel cell in a steel box under the rear bumper.

 

Edelbrock has some good quality frame mount fuel pumps intended for use with EFI systems. And they are rebuildable.

#1790 is good for 80 GPH at 45 PSI and has -10 inlet and outlet.

Also, Areomotive now makes a fuel cell with a pump and filter built-in.
