Default What does this mean?

On the overhead console on my 2000 WJ i received a message saying "Train timeout".
After research i have not come across the meaning of this message.
If anyone can point me to the definition of what this means i would be grateful.

Did a little searching and found this page.... http://www.wjjeeps.com/homelink.htm. I just skimmed it, but it looks like your WJ comes standard with 3 buttons on the overhead console (EVIC) that are dedicated to remote operation (garage door, automatic gate etc). They list a few display codes that mention "training", but nothing about "timeout". I would assume it's related to your problem though. This may not be your complete answer, but I think it points you in the right direction. Good luck.

It sounds to me like the VIC was put into "training mode" and nothing was entered so it is just letting you know your time to program it has expired. To clear it, go the www.homelink.com and they should be able to help you.

My 2000 WJ doesn't have the universal transmitter feature, but my Owner's Manual describes how to program it.
