Default What could this tapping noise be?

2002 jeep grand 2.7crd WJ
yesterday I set off from home, about 500mts up the road I had to practicallystop to negotiate a very tight left hand turn. As soon as I slowed down therewas an almighty hissing/knocking noise from the engine. After a couple ofminutes is reduced to a ticking sound. This was coming from the top of theengine. Anyway I continued to drive for about 20 miles round trip. The jeepdrove as good as it ever has done.
Can anyone offer any advice?
Thanks guys for anything you can suggest.

Here is a short video of it.

Mine does that it it wasn't a lifter so I put in some gear oil and it pretty much stopped it. Just a little bit though.

Yes I changed all the oils last week except the gear box. This time though I used 10-40 fully synthetic, instead of semi synthetic.

I dont use a specific brand, I just try to get a decent one at the right price, but allways a 10-40 semi synthetic. The last time though I used Total Quartz 7000 10w40
My bad I thought this was a fully synthetic oil.

maybe run it for a week or so and if it still does it i would change it out to a different oil. it might just be a lil thicker than what you normally use

Thanks for all the replies everyone. I have checked and double checked most of your sugestions, but cannot find an obvious answer. So I think I will just wait and see if it gets any worse.
