Default What is this?

Can anyone tell me what this sensor is beneath the throttle body? It's not plugged into anything and I can't find any loose plugs that should plug into it. The car runs fine as is.

I would guess an intake air temperature sensor. Someone may have moved it into the intake air box where it's cooler to increase fuel mileage. There's suspicious looking purple wire going into the air box, or looks like it.

Are you referring to the MAF?

No it's just a temp sensor because it's in an intake runner, not in the main intake duct.
