weird noise during slow turn braking, abs module?
Hey everyone. I am new here and I am hoping to get some help. I have a 2008 cherokee limited hemi with quadradrive2 and 33K miles. I have a problem that just started a few days ago. If I am am driving normal road speeds at say 45 mph, then start to slow down in order to make a turn, with the wheel very slightly turned and on the brakes lightly, right at about 15-20 mph there is a machine gun type noise that sounds like it is either coming from the wheel area or from the abs module. Most the time it stays on for the same amount of time, maybe 1-2 seconds and it feels like there is a little bit of braking being applied when this happens. My only guess is an abs wheel sensor or even the abs module. Im hoping the sensor! I recorded a audio file of it but cant seem to get it to show up correctly. I could always text it.
