Vibration at 65 mph. Why? 97 Zj laredo 4.0
We own this car for 20k miles. it is on 107k miles now. It is a laredo with np242. 2wd/4wd.
I have properly balanced Yokohama Go12 tires for 10k miles. I replaced front discs and pads to cure problem but it only helped to make it better.
i have new prothane bushings for 1 year and no steering play issues or steering dampener problems like death wobble.
my problem is, i feel a vibration when it accelerates to 60 mph and a resonance can be observed on car body. i can see mirror is vibrating but i do not feel it on seering wheel clearly. when it resonates at 2 Hz, ( 2 times/sec) at back vibration/resonance is less than front seats.
you can hear a rrrrr-rrrr-rrrrr-rrrr-rrrrr-rrrr. ( like a happy kitten ) when it is accelerating at a constant rate, vibration disappears at 65 mph.
when i put it into N to try if it is related to engine or not, vibration will not be effected, becasue of deceleration it appears and disappears quickly.
what can be the reason? i went to a shop for front shaft, we did not see any play on it. should i remove it? will i need any replacement part when i attach it back?
i do not hear any wheel bearing like noise in front but i have slight wheel bearing noise at back.

solved. it turned out to be a loose bolt on front shaft. we also rotated shaft 180 degreees and put it back.
