Finished all my maintenance on my 1998 Grand Limited.

I adjusted the small drum brakes inside the rear disc rotor. I have an emergency/hand brake now. But...it still won't hold on a decent hill. And where I live we have hills!

I slid underneath to adjust the nut adjuster for the cables.
I changed my mind. It's rusted. It will snap if I try. Does anyone sale that adjuster assembly for the handbrake where you adjust it underneath where the cables all meet?

Yeah, Mopar does and if I'm reading it right, it's $133! My mechanic bought one for a Ram and it cost HIM $108. Not only that, but it's bare metal with no plating! Near as I can tell it's called the parking brake control, but no pictures so IDK if that's what I found or not. You're talking about the adjuster where the 3 cables join, right? Sorry man, but you'll have to go to a dealer parts counter and have them look it up on their computer.

Thanks Dave. I put a link up to what I found searching around. I have to look underneath at mine again. I don't know if mine looks exactly like this one in the photo. But yes...the adjuster where the three cables meet. Something like this link below...if this is the right one not sure...seems to cheap onlne...

I looked under mine today. It does appear to be the same. The cheap price scares me..Does this appear to be right? I may order through them if so.

"Looks good to me!" As I said, the only thing I could find in my search was a parking brake control, whatever that is, with no pictures or further explanation. Go for it!

I'll order through them. I just never heard of them before. But I guess it is reputable. I was shocked to see the part was that cheap that's why I was questioning it. LOL
