Transmission or T-case
I am looking at buying a 97 v8 grand cherokee. The problem with it is that if you put it in drive it move's and if you put it in reverse it start's to move then lock's. I got under it and saw that the t-case cross member has taken a hit, not severe, but you can tell and it has some fluid on the case. I am wandering if the t-case is in a bind not letting it move. When it's in reverse it feel's like you are holding the brake and gas at the same time. The tranny oil look's clean. Any help or suggestion's will help. Thank's
