Transmission Mount, Nothing's fitting!
In backing the transmission out of my 1977 Cherokee to replace the flex plate, we noticed the transmission mount was worn. Rookie mistake, I threw the old one away before we were done. Now literally none of the mounts we're getting from auto parts stores are fitting.... the bolt holes on the transfer case side are all way too narrow. Anyone experienced this????

Welcome to the forum.
Not too many SJ Jeeps (or owners) around these days.
Good luck w/ that problem. Live and learn, keep a pile of old parts until done. It also helps to ensure everything has been returned to place.

Take a look at what is listed at the Rock Auto website and compare what they have listed to what you've been getting.
I've had no problems getting exact fit items from them.
