Transmission Help
I have a 1998 Grand Cherokee with the 4.0L engine, and I presume, the 42RE 4 speed automatic transmission that needs help. I found a AW4 automatic from the Cherokee, at a fair price. I have two questions:
1. Which transmission is better, the 42RE or the AW4?
2. Are they interchangable?
