Default Transmission control module

Have 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo having problem with the transmission Jeep dealer told me a need a TCM replace it and still doing the same thing sometimes it will shift good sometimes it will be in a lower gear and I can't go any higher than 30 miles an hour the rpms are close to 3 if if I go at that which I don't. What else could it be

Default 98 v8 jeep Cherokee Delayed shifting

Why would my 98v8 jeep Cherokee delay goin in to 2 gear? Tranny fluids full already checked that

Check all your speed sensors. They are all hooked together on the speed sensor circuit. One on the rear of the transmission and one on each corner at the axle shaft

I would check your throttle position sensor

I have a 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee Orvis and lately it won't start unless it's in neutral and occasionally when I put it in park it will roll backwards and make a clicking sound and the awhile ago when I had it running and it park it rolled away on me I parked it for a few days and now it won't start i was told that it could be the TCM but idk if this is true a new TCM is expensive and I don't want to replace it if it doesn't turn out to be the issue I'm stumped on this one any suggestions that may help me is greatly appreciated

Jennifer, your linkage needs to be adjusted is all so the park pawl goes all the way in. TCM has nothing to do with Park

Linkage was the first thing that I did and it didn't solve the issue

Well, all I can say is that the park function is purely mechanical. The TCM controls what speed the transmission shifts at
